Shawn K. Eells

Shawn has over 17 years of financial markets and portfolio management experience. Prior to joining Palisade, Shawn was at UnitedHealth Group for 12 years as a Director of Investment Management. Shawn’s team was responsible for managing the cash and investments for the company’s bank and insurance subsidiaries. Other responsibilities included asset allocation, new asset class research and due diligence, and developing and managing relationships with external investment advisors. Shawn was also a member of the investment subcommittee for the company’s 401(k) and retirement plans. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Shawn worked in a client-facing role at a national financial services firm. Shawn received a B.S. from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
