Our Team

Steve manages portfolios for multi-generational families, individuals, nonprofits, and businesses. His experience and knowledge of financial and estate planning matters helps clients determine their current needs and achieve their long-term goals.

Prior to joining Palisade, Steve was head of the Trust and Financial Services Division at BNC National Bank. Earlier in his career, Steve was a member of the Executive Committee for US Trust Company’s Regional Office and held various positions at Resource Trust Company. Steve began his career in the tax department of a nationally recognized accounting firm.

Steve holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota. He is a CPA (inactive) and is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Steve earned a BA in Business from Bethel University.

Steve has provided financial and investment counsel to nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Most recently, he served on the Bethel University Foundation Board of Governors, the foundation’s Investment Committee, and chaired the Audit Committee.
